Mason heads 24-hour squad
UK Athletics will send Stephen Mason and a four-strong women’s team to the IAU 24-Hour World Challenge in Bergamo next month.
The highly-experienced Sharon Gayter, who was sixth at the 2006 Challenge, will be joined by Pauline Walker, Vicky Skelton and Lynne Kuz.
The five members of the Aviva GB team at the Italian venue will also be chasing European Championship medals, with the event being incorporated within the global meeting.
