Self-Transcendence 24 Hour Race Tooting Bec 2009 update

With 2 hours to go in the Self-Transcendence 24 hour race in Tooting Bec, South London, Richard Quennell,on 130 miles, has eased into a 4 mile lead ahead of Paul Hart who has been nursing a niggling groin injury but is hanging on to second place. Third placed John O’Regan has a couple of miles on fourth placed newcomer Neil Bryant.

Aileen Scot, 105 miles, is maintaining a small cushion over Elizabeth Karlsson.
