In less than three weeks Wales will play hosts to the 2nd Commonwealth Mountain and Ultradistance Running Championships which features mountain races and ultra-distance races in the form of a 24 hour race and a 55 km trail running event.
This exciting weekend event will also feature shorter public events including a 5k, an open mile plus some primary school races.
The 24 hour will take place in Llandudno and the 55 km trail race will take place in Newborough Forest on the Isle of Anglesey.
This event is one of the the biggest ultra events ever held in Wales. The CMUDC says :

“Welsh Athletics and the team from the Local Organising Committee have left no stone unturned in ensuring that the 2nd Commonwealth Mountain and Ultradistance Running Championships are a true success…”
