Country to Capital 2020 Results

The 12th Country to Capital 2020, the 43 mile ultra organised by Go Beyond Ultra took place on January 11th, 2020. One of the first ultras of the ultrarunning calendar this event starts at Wendover and follows trails through Buckinghamshire before picking up the Grand Union Canal to Little Venice in London.

The course records were set in 2019 by Luke Delderfield with 4:56:35 and Rebecca Ferry’s record of 5:53:16, was reset this year by Carla Molinaro, first female finisher at the Country to Capital 2020. Carla broke the existing course record to finish in 5:32:33 – fourth place overall, having held the lead from the start of the race. The men’s winner was Sage Pearce Higgins who reached Little Venice in 5:15:33. 385 finishers.
