The Ridgeway Challenge 2025 took place last Saturday, the 31st of May starting and finishing at its traditional locations – Ivinghoe Beacon near Tring and ending at Avebury Stone Circle. The course is 86 miles (1307km) along The Ridgeway National Trail, a 5000 year old trackway passing through the Chiltern Hills and the North Wessex Downs. First held in 2004, the event has a 28 hour cut-off.
First across the finish line was Oliver Burton-Taylor in 15;32:08 and Women’s winners were Beth Ingham and Jessica Johnson in 16:31:28.
