There is a real ‘family’ atmosphere in the tented village in the track’s infield. There are special prizes for anyone who goes beyond 100 miles and £500 for the male and female who goes the furthest plus a bonus for a track record. This event carries a world governing body bronze label and is recognised by Athletics Ireland as the 24-Hour National Championship. There is also a 12-hour and relay option”.
