William Sichel Leads Unix 6 Day Race

At the 82 hour mark in the Unix 6 Day Race in Balatonfured, Hungary. German Hans Jurgen Schlotter had a 1 km lead over Scotland’s William Sichel and in the ladies race Italy’s Monica Barchetti led Krisztina Nagy by 6 km. UK ultrarunner Heather Foundling-Hawker is still in touch with the leader as the race approaches the mid point.

The 48 Hour event is underway and as I write is at the 33 hour point -15 hours to go.
